    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

Paid £13000 when 2.5 years old. Now worth about £8000 5.5 years old. I've lost a lot more on cars before. Has good image and your paying for that, I think.

    Costs

    1 out of 5 1.0

Servicing expensive. Tyres not bad, shop around £60. Cost me a fortune in repairing faults and thats not at Landrover Dealer. £2k first year, £1k second year. Very poor, might have got a pig though. New BMW version supposed to be better.

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

Nice drive, good driving position, not particularly fast, but hey its a 4x4, you can put your foot down and make it go though once its of the mark.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Rated low in power, but it pulls my 1500kg caravan easily. Brilliant on fuel, I get about 35 round town, much more on motorway, and 24 when towing. Does upto about 100 on motorway ""allegedly""

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

Never broke down, never failed to start.

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

Best in its class, except new X3 obviously, but your talking a lot more money for one of them.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Comfotable and plenty of room. Not that much head room though, my hair touches ceiling, I am 6ft tall.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Has good alarm and immobiliser system, though does't appear to have shock sensor as someone once hit it in carpark at work and alram did'nt go off. No one's ever tried to steal it, yet.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Dealer would not contribute to repair of major ABS Traction Control (orange light) electronics fault when only just out of warranty and with full LR service history. Went elsewhere, LR diagnosis was wrong. Still cost a lot though.
