Practical, safe.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Impressed - best friends also bought exactly the same model.. but they got the heated seats :).
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes definitely. Intend to keep it as long as possible as the new models still don't have many extras over ours anyway.
What are you likely to buy next?
Second car - probably small family runabout.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - excellent part-exchange on old VW Golf and great service. Aftersales left a bit to be desired and wouldn't touch main dealer servicing due to high costs, but sales-wise it was a good deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Excellent. No pressure, got the deal and price we wanted and could afford. Also allowed us to take car home on test drive on our own!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great all round, easy on the motorways, light enough in town. Great driving position and feels safe and secure.
What's it like to park?
Easy - parking sensors for the lazy approach, massive wing mirrors and a nice chunky body with no hidden corners.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Minor electrical issues - fuel level sender faulty connection, airbag warning faulty connection and oil leak to intercooler hose, but nothing major. The handbrake's not brilliant - my tip would be to buy genuine disc/pads/shoes and get them fitted. You can get the parts genuine and new from eBay and most garages will happily fit your own parts now.
What's most practical about your car?
Four wheel drive system is brilliant - never got stuck ever in snow, mud, etc and I've given it some stick. It's only ever had road tyres and been brilliant.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control - great for the motorway.
