In their own words
A lovely car, just wish I knew exactly what this smell that comes into the cabin was, it's concerning as it's particularly strong fume smell. I would certainly choose an evoque but maybe consider the petrol version or do more research on the operating system of the diesel particular system.
How reliable do you find the car?
On some regular journeys there & braking to slow down there is an awful smell of what appears to be diesel burning fumes coming into the cabin. Contacted Land Rover who stated that this is caused by a diesel filter system that burns off excess diesel particles & sometimes this may happen. If unfortunate enough to get this through into the cabin, switch off the air circulation or open the window & it'll soon pass. Not sure if this is being fobbed off? Or if there is other evoque owners who have the same issue?About their car
