Land Rover Range Rover Evoque (2011 - 2019) 2.0 TD4 SE Tech Hatchback 5d Owner Review

The Evoke is a great looking car and drives well, but build quality and reliability of my Evoque is awful. I bought the car new with a 5-year service plan so expected 5 years of worry-free motoring. How wrong I was. It has needed more than five thousand pounds worth of repairs in less that 45K miles including a full exhaust (rusting from the inside) and a new timing-chain (which is supposed to last the life of the engine). In addition it has had numerous engine-warning lights, and sensor faults. Although some of the repairs were carried out under warranty (or a contribution paid by JLR) the faults were so serious that they should not be expected on a "premium" brand vehicle and as such I would not buy another Evoque and cannot recommend.
