Land Rover Range Rover Evoque (2011 - 2019) 2.2 SD4 Prestige Hatchback 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Bought the Evoque as have been long time fan of Land Rover. Bought the car in 2013. The car was recalled for a fuel leak and it needed repaired for an engine mount failure and needing wheel bearings within 6 months of owning it. Failed its first MOT on suspension and brakes - never been offroad, genuine careful owner. Unresolved known electrical problem on headlights keeps blowing them. Windscreen wiper snapped off one cold morning and there is a weird tapping noise from the clutch which garage say "they do that". Lovely to drive, very comfortable if not a bit of a sail barge on the motorway, but build quality not on a par with German rivals. As contrast, we also have a 5 series BMW and it has had nothing go wrong with it in 5 years. The Evoque is always needing something fixed. Tread carefully as we obviously got a Friday afternoon car. It is also heavy on tyres which are not cheap.
