Land Rover Range Rover Sport (2013 - 2022) 3.0 SDV6 (306bhp) HSE 5d Auto Owner Review

We have always wanted a Range Rover having had discoverys for over 20 years, We found this car just 12 months old with only a small mileage and at a reasonable cost. It was much better than we expected in terms of comfort, ease to drive and facilities. It was sapcious enough to carry all the ings we needed for our trips to France to our boat including ladders and other fittings. While and overnight ferry was helpful, we always arrive at our destination feeling bright and relaxed. Howwever like all cars of this size it is not quite so vwersatile driving around town and parking spaces can be a little tight. That said its main use for us is long distance journeys for which we find it is ideal. The various facilities make driving easy and we appreciate all the warninglights and sounds thought the latter needs getting used to as the audible sounds give plenty of leeway before getting close to an object. The rear view camera is a great help when reversing and is one of the better one that I have experienced. Acceleration is good for its size and the gearing is smooth..On long journeys at fairly constant speed fuel consumption can be as high as 40 mpg, but running around locally on short distances consumption can drop below 30 mpg. As we do use it lot locally ie nearly every day, our fuel consumption since buying has averaged about 31 mpg. Like everything else it depends on what you want, but for us it has been the best car we have ever bought in over 60 years of driving and would certainly buy again if we need to.
