What does this car say about you?
To me it says, likes comfort and perceived class. To others probably the old hedgehog joke applies...
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Offspring like the comfort and prestige. Neighbours with "better" faster cars like it ... Neighbours with chips on shoulder hate it ... Overly ostentatious?
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Previous 4x4 cars (VW Touareg) went around corners without the lurch factor and were more discrete.
What are you likely to buy next?
Q7 or AMG 63ML Mercedes (possibly new model Range Rover or RR Sport - but from a different dealer).

Did you get a good deal and why?
Reasonable deal. Dealer had just reduced by £5k. Trade-in price was goodish also. I think because car had been difficult to shift, due to poor consumption. However, buying a Tdi version is significantly (£ks) more expensive for a comparable spec - so unless keeping for a long time, a poor investment decision.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
For a change / size / comfort.
What was the dealer like?
Traditional in approach. Had been on all the sales courses, NLP handshake, positive-sales suggestions made in very assertive language. A "dealer". Currently seeking compensation for misrepresenting the finance package (which we didn't even actually want).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great in a straight line. Very wobbly around corners at any speed. High view ahead provides real primary safety in my opinion.
What's it like to park?
Fine in an open car park. Difficult in older multi story's with intruding pillars. Allow extra time to find the ideal space! Appalling turning circle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
So far, so good.
What's most practical about your car?
Size, cruising ability - quiet, comfortable as long as on a motorway in a straight line. NOT a car for fast corners!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Reversing camera / surround cameras and the parking height air suspension setting.
