Land Rover Range Rover (2013 - 2021) 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography 4d Auto Owner Review

In their own words
This is my 6th Land Rover product in a row and along with my previous two Discovery 4’s, they are the best card that I’ve ever owned. Smooth, quiet and comfortable to drive, with performance to spare from the SDV8 diesel. This is a startlingly fast car and with the active roll control, it corners remarkably flat for such a tall and heavy car. However, the steering is quite light and the standard Pirelli tyres, on 21” rims, can get caught out and tramline badly with lorry ruts in motorways. The finish and build quality inside is fabulous. While it’s not as practical as the old Discovery 4, it still has a lot of space and unlike newer Land Rover designs, it has large low cut windows, with lots of light coming into the cabin and a great view out, with even the front corners of the bonnet clearly visible to the driver. It’s also the sole remaining LR product with a proper split tailgate! It is a big and above all wide car and passing in country lanes is not easy, while standard width parking places can be a problem. Reliability and build quality has been excellent, with a couple of insignificant issues quickly fixed by the dealer. Fuel is costly, but fair considering the nature of the car, while tyres and brakes seems to be wearing slowly and even regular servicing isn’t too bad. Overall, very happy.
