Economy
Value
Range Rovers are never cheap to own and run but the at least the diesel does not deprecicate like the petrol versions.
Costs
I never use main dealers after the warranty expires and now all servicing is done by a local Land Rover independent, the maintenance costs are no higher than any other big car.

On the road
Driving
A superb level of comfort and commanding view of the road.
Performance
This is a seriously slow car even with the engine chipped to 180bhp. But unlike most Rangie owners, my car gets well used towing a 3.5 tonne trailer to showgrounds around the UK.

Living with it
Reliability
My latest model has been 100% reliable having covered 98,000 miles in 3 years. Earlier models I had suffered electrical problems but this one seems a lot better.
Image
Range Rovers are all about image, although my use is based on the sheer cababilty the vehicle has off-road and towing. Very few vehicles come close to a Range Rover.
Comfort
Must be one of the most comfortable vehicles on the road.

Security and Service
Security
High grade security system fitted as standard but the key control is a bit dodgy when the batteries are low.
Service
Land Rover do not treat their customers as they should. I have had many disputes over small issues that with a little more attention to detailed would have me giving a glowing report. My independent service agent gives real value for money.
