Lexus GS Saloon (2012 - 2018) 450h 3.5 F-Sport (Sunroof + Multimedia) 4d CVT Owner Review

In their own words
I bought the Lexus after several generations of E-Class in a row - we still keep a 1995 E300TD as the general dog-carrier, load lugger and family treasure - and wanted to give the brand a try to replace our E350D. Bought privately with full Lexus history and a reasonable price, it had no warranty but with their reputation, I thought it would be OK. Did 500 miles home after the deal and all went well. I fit comfortably in the car at 6’3”, it has the identical performance figures as my old 500E but uses 40% less fuel. Finish is top although there is soft-touch plastic where the Mercs have leather in some areas and leg room behind my seat is less than ideal. The audio system is excellent and has a CD but no Multi-changer. My iPhone linked immediately to the system and works well with Deezer. The only downside is the fiddley navigation system; compared to that used in the Mercs, it’s well behind in practicality and ease of use. Once set up however, directions are clear and concise. The last update for this car came later in 2015 and this gives a larger screen and perhaps more ease of use however, with the phone navigation in use, this negates the problem. I took the car to my local dealer to change a cracked front number plate and they changed both to match the dealer name and cleaned the car inside and out for no cost - their name on the car now is free advertising I guess and, living up to their reputation. So far, happy with the change - it’s quick, economical, comfortable and signs are, it’s going to be a good choice.
