Lexus IS C (2009 - 2012) 250C SE-L 2d Auto Owner Review

Lexus have a well deserved reputation for reliability and so far this is no exception. My previous car was a Lexus and having test driven and considered a number of other makes, I found myself back at Lexus. With the roof up, the boot is quite spacious. With the roof down, there isn’t much left but you can squeeze in a weekend bag. Heated and cooled front seats. Have tested the former but not the latter yet. Very powerful heater and have had roof down on dry days in quite low temperatures and yet it’s still quite cosy and comfortable. Not quite the supremely comfortable, glide along experience of my previous Lexus but still very comfortable and smooth. Some slight trade off for the folding top I suspect. I had expected to feel a little low down and vulnerable but not so, great visibility and road positioning. Great engine, lots of power and fun to drive. Handles well if you push it but I find I just like to keep up with traffic enjoy the drive. Lots of toys and as usual it’s all been well thought out. I can’t wait until I can take her on a longer road trip. SE-L model has reversing camera and I’ve also found the front and rear sensors useful. Sat nav is usually Lexus offering which is terrible and is the only real weak point on this (and in my view all) Lexus.
