someone who loves driving , and needs a relable car supported by excellent dealer net work should something go wrong , know there is a dealer who will fix the problem without a fuss

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would but unfortunately Lexus dont make it any more !!!

What are you likely to buy next?

its difficult , the cars completed 70k In 5 years I guess it would cover another 350k with no problems but thats looking at 2020 !!! like the look of the 159 stationwagon ? not so sure about Alfa dealerships though ........bit to Italian for my liking ......now test drove the IS-F thats a bit of a beast ....its just the styling ...perhaps fit the v8 lump in the sportcross .....other than that its got to be the Aston Martin DBS ....well it does have my initials !!

Did you get a good deal and why?

Good part ex , price was about right at the time very rare to find a low mileage 300 navigator

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Liked the style of the sportcross wanted a 3 litre and the specs were excellent compared to BMW 3 series

What was the dealer like?

Poole / Southampton dealerships absolutley first class , have had the car serviced to schedule , very friendly , helpfull the reason why Lexus come top in the surveys is easy to see

What's it like to drive?

the traction control is very good , I use it mainly in Europe can confirm it reaches 143 mph but the mpg suffers at these speeds ,at a more reasonable 60 -70 it returns around 30 mpg. seats are comfortable , like the novel dash layout similar to a divers watch , mine is the automatic with triptronic but i normally drive in auto mode, , the cabin with black leather and alacantra is a very nice place to be.

What's it like to park?

very easy the numberplate is positioned slightly forward of the bumper , and I have a rear tow bar so no problems

Have you had any problems with the car?

Traction control sensor replaced , CD 6 player was replaced three of charge even though it was outside warrenty would have cost 1500 !! Wheels will need refurbishing other than that , very reliable

What's most practical about your car?

is more of an extended coupe than an estate however with seats folded down plenty of room , passenger seat folds down into table which is handy

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Sat nav is excellent , surround sound system and 6 cd player is superb
