  • Economy

    Value

    4 out of 5 4.0

Luxury at a good price. Not a family car though, too thirsty.

    Costs

    2 out of 5 2.0

Dealer services slightly above average Japanese I suppose. Parts expensive and not always necessary as dealers will not try and fix just replace (but they all do that).

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Smooth and comfortable. No sports car by any means but if you want that buy, well a sports car.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Surprisingly swift. Loves motorway cruising.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Power steering leaks cause havoc with alternator. Seat motors are not designed to lift a fat previous owner. Brake calipers do not like being left for a week or so.

Definitely a car for those that know cars. Number of times that people had to check the name on forecourts. Great.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Quietness is legendary (and true). Seats like armchairs. Controls well thought out and easy to get to.

  • Security and Service

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Lexus UK are great, service and franchise dealers are over rated.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

    Untraced dying on acceleration.

    Other

Leaking power steering, alternator failure, brake calipers seizing, seat gear stripped, blew rear speaker (oops).
