Lexus LS Saloon (1990-2000) interior, tech and comfort
The electrically-powered driving position is excellent and highly adjustable, which, when coupled with the refreshingly user-friendly controls, gives the LS400 a great sense of luxurious style and design. The sat nav – installed as standard in face lifted models – is informative and simplistic, while all the other gadgetry is conveniently located on the central stack.
The roomy interior aims for opulence, but falls a little short as the leather, wood and switches feel cheap and tacky. Otherwise, the levels of comfort are fully optimised on lengthy journeys, giving the driver and passengers the opportunity to fully experience and appreciate the Lexus’ standards, which come as additional costly extras with many rivals.
Moreover, the audio kit is top-notch, plus interior cabin noise is extremely peaceful and quiet.
