Lexus UX SUV Hybrid auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Previous CT owner (and Toyota owner), so already 100% sold on reliability and functionality.
Traded in a faultless 9 year old CT for 30 month old low mileage UX, with premium pack. I’m very tall so seat comfort and driver position is critical, the UX is perfect in that respect.
Don’t mind the small boot or limited rear leg room, as no kids or motoring holidays, but not for everyone.
Touch pad for satnav and small screen is horrible, but I use Apple car play so no issue. Newer models much better in this respect.
2 litre plus hybrid power is more than enough, E-cvt transmission a big improvement on the CT, but engine will drone if you thrash it.
Despite weight and power, capable of astonishing fuel economy, ie 58mpg (measured brim to brim) on A roads and in urban traffic. Economy falls off to high 40‘s in winter which is normal.
10 year 100,000 mile Lexus warranty is reassuring. Ok you have to go to a Lexus dealer but frankly I don’t want anyone else working on it.
If you don’t mind the rear space issue then can only recommend.
