Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Brilliant. Ive owned and driven various hot hatches and open top sports cars such as a MG ZR, MG TF, Smart Roadster and Mazda mx5, however this car is in a different league. Its pretty quick in a straight line, especially when the turbo kicks in, however this is not the cars best attribute! The handling is just phenomenal! Its got lots of grip meaning it goes around corners like its on rails. Add to that the steering gives great feedback. Whats a pleasant surprise is that it quite comfortable for a sportscar. Ive test driven an elise, and to be honest, I prefer the Elan as a road car.
What's it like to park?
Not bad, but you cannot see the front of the car very well from the drivers seat.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong. The only issue is that with the car having not been used much before I had it, the brakes required a lot of attention as they were very poor. This seems to be an issue with the Elan if not maintained well, however having had them overhauled they now work very well.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is a reasonable size and its quite comfortable on a long trip!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Turbo boost gauge!
