Lotus Elise (96-00) rivals
Overview
The diminutive Elise is a sensational back-to-basics road racer, providing all-round thrills and really looking the part. As such it’s one of the best modern classic cars today.
More than that, it was a classic in its own time. The magnificently sculpted bonnet and side panels look fantastic – as well as having their aero-dynamic purposes – and due to the Elise’s timeless styling and raw, exhilarating performance there are few rivals to the throne.
