Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hopefully, that I've got taste and like understated cool. Everyone I pass seems to look, probably for the fantastic V8 sound as well as the rarity of the car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That I've got more money than I have.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - I can't believe they are so cheap to buy compared with other high-performance cars that aren't as rare or turn heads. I'd have gladly paid double.
What are you likely to buy next?
My dream is a Lambo Murcialago but that is highly unlikely to happen unless I come into a shed load of money. Probably another Maserati.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Selling price was fair but got much less on trade-in than other dealers were offering me. Must have seen hwo much I wanted the car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Awesome - really quick. I've had two 911s in the past (air cooled) and the Maser feels faster. Takes a while to get used to the power delivery and sensitive throttle. Handles well and loads of torque.
What's it like to park?
Reasonable. I take it easy as I wouldn't want to spoil the look by putting on aftermarket reversing sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Starting sometimes only works if I fiddle with the handbrake or gears. I guess it must be something to do with the immobiliser or a safety feature. My Maser specialist hadn't heard of that problem before.
What's most practical about your car?
Two proper size rear seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
My stainless steel gear knob with logo - very cheap on ebay (about £30) but of very good quality. I needed to replace the original one as it was very worn. Maserati don't make them anymore and if they did they would be over £100 and I couldn't find one from any breaker in the UK.
