Maserati 430 Saloon (1992 - 1994) 4V 4d Owner Review
In their own words
With only 3 roadworthy ones left on the road, this is a rare car to see, mine is also the 1989 3v version, which infact is slightly faster than the 4v. You have to remember it is a car from another era and has nothing electronic to protect you. This does however make it a simple car to maintain, no abs, catalyser, air bags, air suspension -basically nothing so nothing to go wrong. The later models I've had are pricier or to fix, particularly the electronic shocks at £1500 a go -and that's if you can find them. This car is smaller than current grand tourers, but still reasonably roomy for 4, it is quiet and low key to drive too, but well able to keep up with modern cars -as long as it is in experienced hands. It will spin the rear wheels and pull out, so this needs to be managed competently. I would recommend this car, though do like the 222 too, the 222 is however even more lively and light at the rear, plus sits lower meaning you cannot consider going up curbs, it look a little better in coupe form I'd say.
