Mazda 2 (2007 - 2015) 1.3 Tamura 3d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I like how surprisingly punchy the engine is, how easy it is to drive around town, and how pokey the engine is in general. It drives well; and is great even for longer trips. The rear leg-room (especially in the 3 door like mine) is lacking, but is fine for short journeys. Mine is the Tamura which is spec'ed well enough for me, air con, electric windows and importantly for me a AUX connection. The boot isn't massive, but the rear seats fold almost completely flat, so you can get an incredible amount of stuff in there (I got most of my bedroom in mine!) The only issues I've had have been general wear and tear, rear coil springs needed replacing at around 65k miles, front tyres the month before that (a blowout at 60 at midnight) but otherwise, it's not missed a beat. I would say it's worth checking around, but I'd say that of any car regardless. I don't think there are any particular issues with this particular model, but it is worth keeping on top of servicing and making sure factory recalls have been completed.
How reliable do you find the car?
Persistent EML in relation to a Knock-bank sensor issue, but really has not been an issue.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
It's travelled to Derby and back, transports me 12 miles each way to work nearly every day, AND gets a bootload of monthly shopping without fail.About their car
