What does this car say about you?
Cheap to run, much like its owner.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They can't help but being constantly impressed with the MPG and, no, I don't bore them with the figures.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Economy, superb reliability, low tax (£30) great space for a reasonably small car and although it's now done 103000 miles, still going strong.
What are you likely to buy next?
Similar. Job location/commuting needs mean it would have to be a similar type and, with this car's plus points, it's still near the top of my list in this price range.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought a six month old demonstrator. I received a good deal on the new price and an average one for my four year old Mini with 72000 miles on it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a reasonably spacious, low running cost, small car to commute to Manchester and back each day.
What was the dealer like?
Pleasant local dealer, though no negotiating on the price with only one available.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
No sports car; however, good at legal motorway speeds. 68BHP is never going to snap your neck but its torquey enough when already moving.
What's it like to park?
Very good. No long overhangs and good all-round visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Has been superbly reliable. At 80000 miles, I had to have the diesel injectors looked at after a dashboard warning light came on and put the car in "get me home" mode. Other than that it's only needed tyres and usual servicing.
What's most practical about your car?
Decent sized Fiesta alternative. I'm 6ft 3 and find it comfortable. Easily fits my family with two teenage daughters in it. Economy has been outstanding, never dropped below 60 MPG and have often approached, but never quite achieved, 70 MPG.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
On a TS, you don't get any gadgets. My daughters like the MP3 jack.
