Summary
What does this car say about you?
I like something that's not run of the mill supermini.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Not a lot, they are all snobs who have Z4's, BMW's etc, but mine is more economical and easier to park, and probably cheaper to maintain haha.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, not unless they've sorted the uberlight accelerator bunny hop pedal! Or the uncomfy seat or the body roll. Otherwise, yes! Oh and the air con is useless too, must be carried over from Ford!!
What are you likely to buy next?
Hmm I miss my Golf, maybe a Golf, or a Skoda Fabia.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,000
When did you buy the car?
January 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, it was up for £5995 but a mistake on their website meant I got it for nearly a grand less.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Different to all the corsa's and fiesta's on the road, japanese reliability, good looks and sporty performance.
What was the dealer like?
Good, friendly, not pushy.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good accelaration, raspy exhaust note. Noticeable body roll around corners, understeer, uncomfortable seats, need to be more supportive. Notchy gearstick and uber sensitive accelarator means bunny hopping in first gear is almost inevitable.
What's it like to park?
Easy, good visiability, bit closed in at the rear but mirrors are good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I broke the wing mirror and it proved difficult to get a garage to source a patent part. Mazda make it hard for you to get info such as paint code.
What's most practical about your car?
Size - easy to park, good boot size, enough oomph to overtake things.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
There aren't really any good gadgets on it.
