This is my first automatic car. I had been apprehensive that it wouldn't be as responsive as my manual car but I needn't have worried. It's a lovely drive , the steering is light and the doors an ideal weight . The mazda 2 feels solid and secure. It holds the road well and gives good miles per gallon. I enjoy having the sat nav and hands free call system on the dashboard. It isn't obtrusive but gives welcome assistance. The stereo system is loud and clear, nothing tinny here. My only complaint is the parcel shelf in the boot. Its very flimsy for an otherwise sturdy car. I love the many thoughtful touches , such as mirrors with covers behind the sunvisors and good storage on offer for cups, books etc. Road tax of £30 pa in 2020 was a bonus for a car of this size. Overall its a gem of a car.
