A great car to drive but longevity of the build is poor. I had numerous issues including paint problems where the clear coat started peeking after 2 years.
Whilst I would love the new version I won't be buying as I think I will be seeing quality issues from year 3 onwards. Perhaps if Mazda warranty went to 5 years I may change my mind.
How reliable do you find the car?
Whilst in warranty I had no issues but now at 5 years old there are a number of issues mainly with trim and accessories. The big issue is the speakers. These are corroding and one has already been replaced whilst the other is starting to play up. The corrosion detaches the cone from the housing and there are plenty of YouTube videos about that. Also the driver arm rest is falling apart. Before the Mazda I opened a Megane and had no such issues in the 7 years I owned that vehicleDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
