It's my first Mazda and what a great one I was fortunate to find. A local lady driver who clocked up 80+k miles, in under three years. Was given a free 3 year RAC platinum warranty, which I didn't use..and took out another, just in case.
With a full extensive service history and lots of extras.. it is a wonderful driving experience. Car came with Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres had 23k miles on them which I replaced with Rainsport 5 that was strangely cheaper.. possibly understand why.. As the 5s., isn't fairing too well. tempted to return to the 3s.
Couple of rust spots are appearing on the body works...so I got the car inspected, as a precaution...
I was surprised by the report.
Only surface rust reported on subframe.
Rear capillaries and springs needs attention ( replaced )...the inspection fee was paid by the RAC...
Guess the downside could be servicing, at every at 12,500 MLS. With the tenth dealer service is approaching...the car is less than 7yrs old !
I'm not complaining... It's a quality family car with a sporty feel... Recommend.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Starts up regardless of weather conditions. Fabulous for long haul driving, with comfortable leather seats and full safety kit added.... highly recommended.
