Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not fussed about the badge.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Smart looking hatch.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, fuel economy ranges between 25-35, which given the performance is pretty reasonable. The annual road tax (£425) is around £200.00 more per year than a GTI, but the equivalent Mazda is around £3k cheaper in the 1st place.
What are you likely to buy next?
At the moment probably a new MPS.

January 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - good trade in on our existing Mazda, good price compared to the rest of the Mazda dealer network, found it using the on line search & travelled.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Reliability, performance, hatchback practicality.
What was the dealer like?
Couple of hiccups to begin with, but they delivered the car FOC (nearly 200 miles) and it was immaculately prepared. So overall - good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very easy to drive around town, coupled with superb motorway performance, excellent overtaking ability - stunning acceleration at any speed.
What's it like to park?
Steering lock not great - other than that fine, no complaints form my wife who uses it for mainly urban trips.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No, but it has a hesitation and a squeaky seat that I'll be expecting to be fixed under the approved used warranty.

Five door hatch configuration, reasonable space.

Bose Stereo, optional sat nav.
