Summary
What does this car say about you?
Good eye for a bargain and styling (without being flashy)
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Impressed after being driven in it once they know what it cost.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would - a good all-around choice and good value-for-money.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably the same (though I would prefer an 1.8 litre engine for a bit more power than the 1.6)

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£10,450
When did you buy the car?
January 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - I bought from a car supermarket at a substantial (30%) discount, particularly as the car was new and unregistered.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Styling, handling, reliability, boot size
What was the dealer like?
Generally very good, and although there was a mistake on the ICE level, adequate compensation was obtained without fuss or delay (I was pleased with the result). The car was ready on time and the paperwork ready - no fuss.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not quick (although is compared to my previous car), but makes good progress smoothly, holds the road well and good, precise steering. Firm-ish ride (the UK's poor urban roads don't help), but not that bad - smooths out on motorways.
What's it like to park?
OK - high bootline can interfere a bit with reverse parking, but you get used to it. Steering is light enough for parking in tight spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No
What's most practical about your car?
Good amount of storage space (decent-sized boot) and easy-to-use equipment (ICE, A/C controls, etc).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate controlled A/C.
