For an 08 plate car, it has certainly stood the test of time well. Mazda are to be commended for the build quality. All the electrics especially the rear heater work flawlessly. It likes its petrol though. The saloon boot in massive, very rarely do i need the back seats down, but can fit my mountain bike in without having to take my wheels off it.
How reliable do you find the car?
Apart from a hand brake adjustment it has been 100% reliable. I have even accidently left the interior lights on for a few days, and it still started.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I chose the sport model as it had many extras such as front fog lamps, xenon headlamps, autowipers, autolights and climate control. It not had a proper winter test yet, but with cheap tyres the traction control does a excellent job. Once you pass 4750 ish on the rev counter the engine behaves like a much sportier car with its VVT engine.About their car
