Value
For what you get its fantastic value, climate control, 6 disk in dash multichanger, leather steering wheel and gear knob, the list goes on.
Costs
Fuel consumption is a bit high sometimes, but my first service cost £100 and I've had no problems with it.

On the road
Driving
In the dry its fantastic and the DSC can be turned off for a bit of fun, in the wet it tends to lose grip a bit, but altogether its fun to drive.
Performance
Quite quick of the mark, though first and second are a bit slow, once you hit third it really picks up. If you have more than two people in it though you start to feel a degradation in performance.

Living with it
Reliability
One problem, an airbag sensor in the front has a problem, it's not watertight and it gives the airbag warning light now and then, Mazda will fix it under warranty so really no problems and Mazda have a great reputation for reliability.
Image
Not to every ones taste, I love it and theres not a great deal of saloon versions on the road and the front end looks meaty.
Comfort
There is enough adjustments to be made that can make it very comfortable. The suspension tends to be a bit too firm, over long distance though you arrive at your destination without any sore spots.
