Mazda 323 Fastback 2.0i V6 ZXi 5d (1997/P) Owner Review

Economy
Value
At this age and price you can't go wrong. Make sure the cambelt has been changed and discs and pads are good.
Costs
No fault (yet) but I don't expect any. Use the V and you'll need to carry a petrol tanker with you.

On the road
Driving
Sticks like the proverbial to a shovel, good communication through the wheel and well isolated from pot holes. Bit of wind noise at speed.
Performance
No low down torque, in fact hardly any at all but a cracker of an engine once it's on song. Certainly will see off a few of the new hot hatch crowd.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems just needs a regular service like all cars.
Image
Love it! Driven mainly by mature people and a bit of a sleeper but a great car. Looks like a coupe with the practicality of a 5 door.
Comfort
Enough space for 4 and luggage on a shortish journey.

Security and Service
Security
Needs an alarm and an immobiliser to be fitted.
