Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm a fertile mug that likes spending money on petrol and car tax. Couldn't tell exactly but dare say I ever got over 25mpg around town.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The fact we can take them places with us. We did manage to get 4 adults and three under fives to Peppa Pig World with a pushchair and overnight bags. Our neighbours hate us cos we have a load of noisy kids under five so I don't care what they think.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Sold it to buy an A-Class diesel. £30 car tax instead of £270 and double mpg. Family and friends have a bus pass now.
What are you likely to buy next?
Already bought the A-Class.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,400
When did you buy the car?
March 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not really. Got them to replace a dodgy rear shock that was rattling like an epileptic skeleton.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a seven seater for lugging around family and friends and a bootfull of excess baggage.
What was the dealer like?
Usual independent. Buy from an auction and flog 'em cheap.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Acceptable. Won't win any races despite the 1.8 engine.
What's it like to park?
OK. Depends how good you are at parking...

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Problem with some tube from the brake cylinder that cost £110 for a bit of plastic. Rear brakes made weird noise when reversing from cold. Shocks knackered @ 60000 miles. Bumpers that every crap driver in East London scraped the corner of.
What's most practical about your car?
6.5 seats but drives like a car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Huge boot.
