Purchased car in 2015 with 103000 miles on the clock and been using it as a licensed taxi until the near future when it reaches 10 years old and local council rules dictate it’s too old, so have to replace it. During this time, I’ve done all my own servicing as and when needed . Had issues with the rear brake callipers and handbrake cable but inexpensive fixes because did jobs myself. Had to pay someone to change timing chain at 170000 miles, and new electric steering rack at 195000 but this only failed due to a massive pothole ! Apart from these issues all it has needed is regular oil changes .The motor itself still performs well and is roomy enough for my taxi job and I’m not looking forward to getting rid of it and starting over again with something else. Would easily recommend it as a good family car. Current mileage is 213000 and counting .
