Mazda 6 Estate (2012 - 2023) 2.2d SE-L Nav 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
SEATS are uncomfortable and lack adjustment on all models other than the 'Sport' which has extra adjustments. The lumbar support adjustment is a crude lever that raises a bar across your back.. ouch.
SAT NAV, Mazda have changed from TomTom to a Navteq system, a child could have designed better. It can't even direct me out of the village without sending me along a footpath and half a mile further it directs me along a field road that was bypassed 50 years ago. It plans long winding impossible routes, that make it unusable; the solution, I have now bought a TomTom from Halfords that gets me to my destination.
STEERING. A steering fault from new is not covered by warranty according to the main dealer who supplied the car.
BRAKES. There is also a problem with rusty brake discs, not covered by warranty. It flashes up a red 'SD Incompatability' warning but the main agent Perrys have been unable to fix it because MAZDA have failed to get back to them.
Unsatisfactory in a car that has done only 12,000 miles. In conclusion, unreliable, unresolved safety issues , a worthless warranty and a disreputable dealership. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER MAZDA.
