Summary
What does this car say about you?
I have a new son and he comes with enough paraphernalia to fill the back of a mazda 6.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like the colour (phantom blue) and the way it looks.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Feels quite solid and the petrol model seems to have a good reputation. I purposely avoided buying a diesel (particularly) as I was buying something 6 years old.
What are you likely to buy next?
Very likely another Japanese car if this one remains reliable for 3-4 years.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,895
When did you buy the car?
July 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Price was pretty good but need to take into account further comments about the dealer. I would add though, the poor dealers performance should not reflect as a poor car!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Realiability, boot size.
What was the dealer like?
N*b heads. After purchasing I found: lack of friction material on front pads (none!) Air con not working as condenser needed replacing. On contacting the dealer did not want to know and as I am hundred of miles from where I purchased I can't be bothered to waste my time!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Engine is reasonable but a touch revy at higer revs(!). Steering and handling are very good.
What's it like to park?
I can't put mf finger on it, but it is not as easy to park as my old Mitsubishi Galant even though they are a similar size. If you can get parking sesnors I would go for them.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
NO only faults the car came with!
What's most practical about your car?
Crusie is good being on steering wheel. Looking foward to getting the air con fixed as automatic climate control also looks quite nifty.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
6th gear is great and helps economy which on a long run will easily crack over 40mpg which isn't bad on 2.0 petrol. Only issue is the fuel consumption is in litres per 100 miles so your maths brain also gets a workout if you want to go imperial.
