What does this car say about you?

I didn't want a Mondeo or Passat.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Liked it...until it had catastrophic engine failure.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No. NO. NO!! We ended up £6000 out of pocket due to the very poor way Mazda treated us - it was 3 years and 7 months old, so just outside warranty but they wouldn't even goodwill gesture us part of the cost even though its their policy. I won't ever have a Mazda again and think all should be burnt.

What are you likely to buy next?

Anyone but Mazda.

A lot of car for your money.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

High specification, loads of room for passengers front and back, plenty of boot space.

What was the dealer like?

Easy to deal with.

What's it like to drive?

Smooth and easy to drive.

What's it like to park?

Difficult as the rear parking sensors don't detect most obstacles.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Diesel Mazda 6 have a common fault with their oil pump - it fails between 45 - 50k miles. It is almost always out of warranty by then and even Which recommended Warranty Direct won't cover it. Avoid it at all costs.

What's most practical about your car?

The size - you can get three book cases from Ikea into it already made if you sit up close to the dash.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise control and dual climate control.
