Mazda 6 (2013 - 2022) 2.2d (175bhp) Sport Nav 4d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
This model is Loaded, and I mean LOADED. i went for the top grade 2.2 D auto sport nav WITH safety pack which includes blind spot assist, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control ( this allows the car to keep a certain distance from the car in front, it powers and breaks automatically within the top speed - which is specified by me) so basically I choose the top speed limit I want the car to reach, which of course is 70mph on a motorway And input the distance I want to keep from the other car choose from 4 preset distances) and teh car accelerates and breaks automatically according to the car in front, Superb and reliable piece of equipment and has never let me down, Ive tried under various conditions, Day and night rain/sunshine, so it truly works.... One of the breakers fr this car would be the road noise and the stiff suspension but the seating makes up for it, simple and plush leather, it certainly looks the part as an executive car as well as a work horse, I believe the latest version has a color Heads up display instead of the grayscale one in mine and a heated steering wheel unlike my 2016 model. The heated seats do take a while to warm up and are reasonable at best.... Could do with a sunroof though..
How reliable do you find the car?
the front bumper had lost a pin that was keeping it attached to rest of the body, I took it to the dealers who werent sure why but the car was soon booked in and fixed under warranty.. THe sat nav has some c hronic issues with startup, flickering screen, and sometimes unresponsive on startup, and system can be a bit slow, I have spoken to Mazda head office who have reassured that an update is imminent, Annoying issue....there are other drivers experiencing the same problemDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
very very responsive engine, Brilliant handling, slight roll on teh corners but for a sport model she is Nippy for a diesel. I would recommend 2.2 Auto....About their car
