Mazda 626 Hatchback 2.0 LXi 5d (1998/R) Owner Review

Economy
Value
I bought this car second hand and it offered far more for the price compared to it's competitors, and in far better condition - something I'd put down to it's build quality and materials as much as how it's been cared for.
Costs
Fuel efficiency is what I'd expect for a car of it's size and age, servicing has been good.

Driving
The driving experience in this car is very good, steering response is a little light a all speeds, but it is very responsive, body role is as expected really. Considering the sheer size of this car, parking isn't a problem at all.
Performance
Nice and pokey, this car does pull away at most speeds, even though it is a very large car.

Living with it
Reliability
Haven't had a problems except for the key fob stopped working recently (same thing happened to my Megane at a similar age) - other than that it's been a rock!
Image
I think it's a bit of a whale compared to other cars, but it's better than most for it's age, better in dark sublte colours - I do feel sorry for any pillarbox red or gold owners.
Comfort
Very comfortable, being 6'4'' I do require a lot of space, and the Golf clubs always reside in the boot - could do with side support on the seats though.
