Mazda CX-5 (2012 - 2017) 2.2d Sport Nav 5d Owner Review

Worst car I've ever owned (driving over 30 years). A 3-year old car where the gearbox failed requiring a total rebuild (E3K), head gasket failed, engine required total rebuild (E4K), needed new head block.In fairness Mazda gave some % "goodwill" contribution. The iStop function sometimes forgets requiring a manual restart in city traffic, The bluetooth audio system is hit and miss, sometimes it will see your music folders on your phone and sometimes it won't (same phone). Sometimes in winter it takes over 20 minutes to start heating the cabin (wrap up well!). Every morning I wake up and open the curtains I'm sickened by the sight of it sitting there in the drive. It is a constant reminder of what a mug I was to buy it. I'm stuck with it for the foreseeable future as I am still paying off the loan and I don't have the heart to pawn it off on some innocent stranger. My only hope is that some local thugs will set fire to it some night (just kidding). By the way the gear box is starting to act up again. Last Mazda I ever buy.
