Mazda Demio 1.3 5d (1999/T) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
This car is very underrated, excellent value.
Costs
Low insurance, cheap to run, low tax bracket too another bouns.
-
On the road
Driving
Driving is quite good, bit noisy on rough roads and driving at high speeds.
Performance
To say this is only a 1300cc it sure does fly, it only struggles on very steep hills.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Nothing major, just general wear and tear.
Image
This is not what I would call an attractive car but it is an unusual one and very rare. But I like it because it looks like a mini off-roader.
Comfort
I would say this car is the best I've ever driven. Very smooth and still is now after six years of ownership.

Security and Service
Security
This is the Demio's down side. Locks are rubbish, easy to get in to, but the built-in immobiliser is a good idea.
Service
Mazda have been excellent.
