Economy
Value
Bought as a demonstrator 9 years ago. Now new ones cost less than what I paid then! Now at the zero depreciation stage.
Costs
Its a simple beast so can safely be serviced at a small independent garage. Only major expense is cam belt change every 6 years. Petrol consumption 30-35mpg.Never needed extra oil.

On the road
Driving
Perfect balance but needs to be treated with respect in the wet. Feels faster than it is so you can get the exhilaration without the license points.
Performance
May disappoint the boy racers but to be honest without ABS or airbags its probably best that way.

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down.
Image
Other driver's always let me through and young children still say things like "fandabbidozzi motor by the way"!
Comfort
Not bad for what is a fairly uncompromising 1960's replica. I enjoy the old fashioned feel of the non-assisted steering, the wind-up windows and the hazy plastic rear windscreen-it's a bit like being in a Sopwith Camel.

Security and Service
Security
No problems-but is garaged-wouldn't like to have to leave it out on the street at night.
Service
Dealers expensive but always helpful. Things improved when warranty expired an I could take it to an independent.
