Value
What has value got to do with an MX-5? It's a car that you will buy if you want one, regardless of cost.
Costs
28mpg and servicing/parts are pricey.

Driving
Cannot fault ride and handling. Corners are precise, braking is excellent and the back end steps out VERY predictably after a hint of understeer (as a warning) and is easy to catch. Fun on wheels.
Performance
Not a rocketship, but then it only cost me 11 grand and it's fast enough to enjoy without getting into trouble.

Living with it
Reliability
Hmm, need to replace cat, which is going to cost me £600. Other than that, no problems.
Image
I think it looks fantastic, but still seen by many as a bit of a posey girl's car.
Comfort
Great driving position and comfy supportive seats.
