What does this car say about you?
That we like open-top motoring, but see the sense in having a hard-top in the winter. We appreciate quality, reliability and being in a good-looking car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone has said that they 'love it', though maybe wouldn't be any good for them, other than as a second car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, definitely - why wouldn't anyone - it is a great car that is very affordable to buy and to run.
What are you likely to buy next?
Audi TT, or perhaps another electric hard-top car, depending on what is available at that time - in the meantime, we are in no hurry to move on from this excellent car!

Did you get a good deal and why?
Excellent deal - person selling didn't need to get top price, so was happy to sell for cash, for less than the 'book' price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We wanted an affordable, good looking open-top car with an electric hard-top. The MX-5 was therefore the best option!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great fun to drive; quick and very precise steering, though 'twitchy' when driven over any road imperfections - steering wheel is always 'alive'. Quite noisy, though all this is to be expected form this sort of car, so can't complain.
What's it like to park?
Very small and short, so a doddle to park. Rear pillars are quite broad though, so rear-sideways view is limited.

Have you had any problems with the car?
No, nothing.
What's most practical about your car?
The electric hard-top makes it good to use in winter. Other than that, this can hardly be described as being practical in any sense of the word! It does help though, that the (limited) boot space is not further compromised when the roof is down.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
First and foremost, the superb electric roof - brilliantly engineered and a pleasure to use; (upgraded)Bose sound system; great heater and heated leather seats.
