Mazda MX-5 2.0 Sport Nav 2d Owner Review

Got in Feb on company lease scheme. Didn't use it for the first 4 weeks due to the 'beast from the east'. RWD rendered it useless in snow & ice but that assumes I could even get in to it in the morning. Ice formed on the seal all around the window where it meets the roof seal and even hot water and de-icer couldn’t sort it out. Forums suggest smearing vaseline around the seals but I never got round to trying. Bodywork VERY thin & liable to car park dings. Front end picked up many stone chips in 6000 miles. Windscreen susceptible to stone chipping easily. Maybe that’s par for the course with a low slung car but I reckon paint protection film would be a must-have for someone looking to keep their car looking good over years of ownership. Left company last month and handed car back. Would I buy one with my own money? No. New job doesn’t come with company car so bought a used 3 Series from Car Giant.
