Mazda MX-6 2.5 V6 GT 2d Auto (1996/P) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Bought mine for £14k 7 years ago when it was a year old with 40k on the clock. Never broken down once. High level of equipment (that still works) is the plus point. It is thirsty though and mine is now only worth £3k. Good value buy today.
Costs
Servicing is cheap if you don't go to Mazda. Someone with a bit of V6 experience is fine. Parts are expensive if something big goes wrong.

On the road
Driving
Beautiful. Car is set up as a luxury tourer.
Performance
Not the fastest or sportiest cars I have driven. Set low so handles corners well. Great on Motorways and Country lanes.

Living with it
Reliability
Distributer failed last year, even then the car could still be driven, else no problems.
Image
I asked a few of my friends how much they thought my car cost now, anything from 7-13K was the response. Looks great espeically with 16"" alloys. 17"" does not suit the image.
Comfort
Road noise at speed as the driver and passenger doors have no window surrounds, otherwise very smooth.

Security and Service
Security
Never been tested, no matter where I have parked it. Had the front badge stolen 5 years ago, if that counts?
Service
Haven't really dealt with Mazda
