Mazda MX-6 2.5 V6 GT 2d (1995/M) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Great if you"re a buyer... however, as an owner the car hasn"t really held a good price during my six years of ownership!
Costs
For a performance car no worse than you"d really expect! Mine has cost me just over £2k in repairs plus just under £2k in servicing during a six-year period.

On the road
Driving
It"s a pleasure to drive - responsive and handles really well!
Performance
Get into cruise on the motorway and mine returns around 34 mpg. Around town it"s a bit thirsty giving anything between 20-26mpg (depending on the weather!)

Living with it
Reliability
It"s only let me down once in six years - but resulted in a hefty bill of nearly £600 for a new distributor!
Image
It"s a real head-turner... I"ve even had guys pull up alongside on the motorway and shout ^^Nice car!^^
Comfort
Loadsa leg room in the front (even for a guy who is 6ft 3in - the other half!)

Security and Service
Security
Spot-on. There was an attempt during my first year of ownership by someone attempting to break in the car... the alarm activated as soon as the guy tried to prise the window away from the rubber seal.
Service
As the car has got older, the local dealership have given LESS service (my impression is that they have lost interest in my car and me as a customer!)
