Mazda MX-6 2.5 V6 GT 2d (1997/R) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Incredibly cheap for a performance car (with leather and air con), with looks that I, at least, think are great - and it turns heads!
Costs
Parts are a bit pricey compared to standard cars and fuel consumption is high (~23mpg urban, 35mpg cruise).

On the road
Driving
Holds the road well. Very pleasurable to drive wet or dry. Fair amount of road noise though!
Performance
Good power delivery and quite quick, very good performance for the money!

Living with it
Reliability
So far so good.
Image
I like it. Many of my friends like it. Not sure where the bad image comes from, but thankful for it as it keeps the 2nd hand prices down!
Comfort
As the driver, fantastic. Rear seat passengers would do well to be short...

Security and Service
Security
Alarm and key-immobiliser are entirely sufficient. Not Thatcham cat1 though, so doesn't help with insurance much.
