Mazda MX-6 2.5 V6 GT 2d (1992/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Superb car for no money!
Costs
Parts are quite high, but economy is not bad for a car like this (20 - 30mpg).

On the road
Driving
Fantastic handling for a big car, drives well, very smooth.
Performance
Good roadholding, always puts a grin on my face. Smooth power delivery, quick through the gears.

Living with it
Reliability
Had a few problems with engine, found some very helpful people on mx6.com to resolve that issue, but always starts first time, runs smoothly, no general faults.
Image
Most people don't like it, which suits me fine, because, let's face it, what would you rather drive? An MX-6, or a Golf?
Comfort
No complaints about the supportive seats, and good driving position.

Security and Service
Security
Had to have a Thatcham immobiliser installed for insurance purposes, but other than that, no worries.
Service
Badly let down by main dealer in Carlisle after engine repairs went wrong. They had car for 5 weeks in total.
