Mazda MX-6 2.5 V6 GT 2d (1996/P) Owner Review

Economy
Value
At current prices (mid 2004) you get a lot of car for your money.
Costs
Mazda servicing not cheap, but hasn't needed many non service items so isn't that bad overall. Around 30mpg on a run. Insurance only £200 now I'm getting old!

On the road
Driving
Enough handling & power to make it very entertaining & satisfying to drive. Excellent A-road car if you want to fly, relaxing drive if you don't.
Performance
No Ferrari, but good torque (not much gear changing) & quick enough to be fun for an ex- 750cc biker.

Living with it
Reliability
Superb. Apart from new front disks, just standard consumables.
Image
Mine looks a lot better in the flesh than some MX-6 photos. Turns a few heads and draws admiring comments from acquaintances. Certainly stands out as not being an ordinary car & I love the way it looks.
Comfort
Better than average, in my experience.

Security and Service
Security
