Mazda MX-6 2.5 V6 GT 2d (1992/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
For such a big car, it's good value. Dealers/traders tend to overpriced.
Costs
Not too bad. Many parts are interchangeable with Ford Probe 24v and are often cheaper. Common distributor problem doesn't need a new distributor, just the ignitor kit.

On the road
Driving
Would be a 3 'cos mines a automatic, they are slower and the auto gearbox can be weak. But good handling for a big car, precise steering and nice 'feel' to the car in general.
Performance
Get a manual - they're better.

Living with it
Reliability
I have done 14,000 miles in 4 months and only had 2 problems. Both are cheap to fix if you look around.
Image
Lots of looks and 'what is it?' looks. One guy pulled beside me at the lights and shouted 'nice car' and said he wished he had one!
Comfort
Good if you're in the front, bad if you're unfortunate enough to be in the back. Boot however is huge!!

Security and Service
Security
I've put a Cat 1 on mine, although I'd imagine that it ain't that high on the thieves' list.
Service
Dealer in Letchworth Herts was rude and suggested I get any work done elsewere as it wouldn't be worth it. I almost walked out.
