Summary
What does this car say about you?
Opted for something a bit different and not 'school-run' practicality... looks sporty from some angles! Probably says 'Family man who wanted something with an edgier look'.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone who has commented on it has liked it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Packed with equipment... managed to add a 6 disc CD player into the existing audio equipment, without it taking up space - It's all set into the dash!
What are you likely to buy next?
Something similar... and because of the reliability factor, probably stick to Japanese - My last car was a Mitsubishi.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,600
When did you buy the car?
March 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought it from a trader which sold on part-exchange vehicles. Came with little history, no warranty and was sold as seen but as it was well looked after, drove well and the engine was sweet, I took the plunge!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed something versatile and practical, with higher seats which wasn't 'mumsy'....
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and helpful, not pushy, seemed a genuine guy in a no-frills trader environment.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Was very comfy and liked the direct steering. Fitted alloys with slightly wider tyres than it came with, resulting in slightly firmer ride and heavier steering but noticeably better grip on cornering. Engine a bit loud when cruising but settles down at various different speeds. Quiet around town. Nippy when overtaking in third gear!
What's it like to park?
Not as easy as I expected, tho' haven't had it long... the bonnet dips out of sight but that's because it's short and I forget how compact in size this car is...

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Had this car for a year now and has proven reliable up to now... Trip to Wales proved no problem. Always seem to be adjusting the driver's seat, looking for that perfect setting... may be caused by the headrests which can't be angled to suit the user. Enjoying the accomodating interior and boot space!
What's most practical about your car?
Seating is comfy and higher up than a standard car; a bonus on scenic runs! Has a very airy interior and very usable boot space, especially with the rear seats removed - almost van-like!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the electric sunroof... oh and the 6-cd changer in the dash!
